28 August 2008

easyLab are proud to introduce the Diacell® Bragg-XVue, a new diamond anvil cell aimed at X-ray diffraction as well as double-sided laser heating experiments.  An innovative cell inspired by the original design of Prof. Reinhard Boehler at the Max Planck Institute in Mainz, Germany, the Diacell® Bragg-XVue is very easy to use and align.

The cell is based on conical diamond anvils, which enable very large conical apertures without the drawback of significant background signals.  Indeed, the Diacell® Bragg-XVue is particularly well suited for X-Ray experiments as it enables diffraction measurements with high transmission factor and very low background.

Dr. Christophe Thessieu said: “With the Diacell® Bragg-XVue easyLab, once again, demonstrates its leadership in high pressure instrumentation.  We have recently launched the Boehler μDriller for gasket drilling and Optiprexx PLS for ruby manometry.  These products complement our strong portfolio in terms of instruments for researchers working at high pressures.  We will continue to broaden our offer to serve this community.”
