Gas Membrane Driven Low Temp. Optical Cell Part of the OptiDAC series
[Formerly WCM(B) Cell]
Product Description
The Diacell® OptiDAC-LT is identical to the Diacell® OptiDAC cell, except that it is made in BeCu alloy, which is more suitable for cryogenic use. The design of the OptiDAC series cells is based on that of the Bragg(G) series, and has been optimised for optical and spectroscopic studies taking advantage of the gas membrane drive mechanism. Pressures of 100 GPa are achieved with the OptiDAC-LT using 200 μm anvil culets.
The gas membrane drive requires, additionally, the Diacell® GM Controller containing valves, couplings, pressure measurement and digital display modules. A quick-release Swagelok coupling allows ready disconnection of the cell from the control box, without loss of gas pressure.
Applications
The Diacell® OptiDAC-LT has been optimised for optical and spectroscopic studies at low temperatures.
